Lunar eclipse of December 10 remains alive thanks to images posted on the net. John Harrison took fine shot of moon directly above Golden Gate Bridge (pictured), his picture and others can be viewed at MSNBC website. A boston.com article supplies explanation for moon's reddish hue during eclipse, "...since the atmosphere scatters blue light, only red light strikes the moon, giving it a crimson hue".
