Marshall Masters: Planet X Visible By June In Northern Skies

Marshall Masters: Planet X Visible By June In Northern SkiesGeorge Noory interviews Marshall Masters, a Nibiru cataclysm proponent, on March 18th edition of Coast To Coast at the 37:30 mark.  Masters reviews fascinating history and current location of Nibiru AKA Nemesis, The Destroyer or Planet X. C2C episode contains jam-packed history of Planet X:
"...Masters specializes in Planet X and ancient civilizations. He discussed evidence for an object on the other side of the sun, which could be Planet X, and how this ties in with Hopi and other types of prophecy, as well as ancient texts including the Kolbrin Bible. He also related his research to that of the late Zecharia Sitchin known for his '12th Planet' theory, and a US Naval Observatory astronomer named Robert Harrington, who died suddenly after coming forward with information about possibly sighting Planet X. The Kolbrin Bible contains an allegory about how a celestial body flies by Earth, creating a large amount of volcanic activity, and leads to the destruction of Atlantis, Masters detailed."
You Tube summary of informative Planet X program continues below fold!
"The so-called Lost Book of Nostradamus includes a prophecy about a harbinger of doom that will appear in the constellation of Ophiuchus, he continued. Masters believes that an 'object of interest' captured in webcam photos of the Turrialba Volcano in Costa Rica is possibly a harbinger to the arrival of Planet X. He nicknamed the object 'Bluebonnet' because of its bluish color and said that it appears before sunset near the ecliptic of the sun. Bluebonnet, he reported, may be planet-sized but can only be observed from high altitudes above the cloud cover during certain times of the day, such as sunset. He further suggested that this object could be the Blue Kachina prophesied by the Hopi that will be followed by a far more destructive Red Kachina..."
"The topic of Planet X keeps coming back because it's the only thing that explains all the extreme climate changes we've been undergoing, he contended, adding that he's concerned about seabeds rising and falling, and undersea volcanism. While Planet X won't hit the Earth, the biggest problem will be its interaction with our sun-- we may see catastrophic earth changes such as the pole shift that Edgar Cayce predicted, Masters warned. Further, he believes Planet X could be arriving this year. "2012 was the warm-up band, and 2013 is the headline act," he commented."
Masters depicts Planet X as a mini-constellation, rocks dragged along in its gravity, will accompany before and after actual passing through our inner solar system! It's interesting to note, Planet X could be one explanation for recent increase in meteors?  Masters is a true believer, who even has recommendation for treating volcanic pumas that will cause skin ulcerations left untreated.  Planet X, as it makes its pass, will result in increased volcanism around our planet, asserts Masters.   A  group monitored by Masters with You Tube channel,  The 00 Skyview, suggest Planet X will be visible in Northern Skies by June.

Comet PANSTARRS En Route To Andromeda Galaxy Encounter

Comet PANSTARRS En Route To Andromeda Galaxy EncounterBob King provides tips in Universe Today article for best viewing of Comet PANNSTARRS in the next week.  "Get ready for an comet encounter of the extragalactic kind. In less than a week, Comet PANSTARRS will slide by the Andromeda Galaxy, the brightest galaxy visible in northern hemisphere skies. On and around that date, you’ll be able to see them both glowing softly together in late evening and early morning twilight," writes King.  The article supplies specific guidance, directing reader to an area of morning or evening sky to spot comet:
"It won’t be long before the comet becomes circumpolar and remains visible all night long. The term refers to celestial objects that circle around the pole star without setting. The Big Dipper is the most familiar circumpolar constellation for much of the U.S. and Canada. On its journey to all-night visibility, PANSTARRS started pulling a double-shift this week. You can now see it both at dusk and at dawn. Although a bright moon will compromise the dawn view for a few days, you can watch for the comet low in the northeastern sky starting about hour and 15 minutes before sunrise. For the moment, it’s about the same altitude above the horizon during both morning and evening hours. Evening is still preferred only because the bright moon has finally departed the sky during the hour or so the comet is visible."
You can hardly go wrong, by simply, utilizing illustrations (top and bottom pictures) to help spot PANNSTARRS - hats off to Bob King!

5 Weird Things About Vesta

5 Weird Things About Vesta 4 Vesta appears to be only a rock to most of us, it's still an appreciable body not far in relative terms.  Vesta orbits at a distance of 156, 000,000 miles from Earth in asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Dawn spacecraft orbited Vesta for a year to learn more about our solar system.   Five new discoveries are reported, as a result, in recent Universe Today article.  It was over 200 years ago, "when Heinrich Wilhelm Olbers first glimpsed Vesta on March 29, 1807 — this date in history — the asteroid was but a small point of light. Asteroid science was very, very new at the time as the first asteroid (Ceres) had been discovered only six years before," begins article.  The five surprising observations made about the heavenly body:  1) Vesta dirt is "well-mixed and mobile," lending smooth appearance to surface, 2) stretch marks apparent around asteroid's equator, may be due to a large impact, causing layers to separate inside asteroid and surface expansion, 3) "'Vesta is a transitional body between a small asteroid and a planet and is unique in many ways,' said mission scientist Vishnu Reddy of the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research in Katlenburg-Lindau, Germany. 'We do not know why Vesta is so special,'"  4) hydrogen discovered near equator possibly delivered to asteroid by impacts with meteors or comets, and 5) northern and southern hemispheres look completely different. "'The northern hemisphere is older and heavily cratered in contrast to the brighter southern hemisphere where the texture is more smooth and there are lots of sets of grooves. There is a massive mountain at the South Pole. One of the more surprising aspects is the set of deep equatorial troughs,' said Carol Raymond, Dawn deputy principal investigator, of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif."

What Caused Russian Asteroid To Disintegrate Before Impact?

Yes, we're all wondering about question in title to Harold Saive's article, "What Caused Russian Asteroid To Disintegrate Before Impact?" Video (left) narrated by David Talbott, "Russian Meteor—Another Shock to the System | Space News," provides electric universe interpretation - planet's natural electrical defense - to explain meteor's complete disintegra- tion. Talbott explains meteor breakup as a natural albeit electrical phenomenon. The video also reveals meteor, is now believed, to be much larger than initial estimate of 10 tons - upwards of 7,000-10,000 tons.  Saive offers novel interpretation of telescopic lens shot of meteor, which can only fascinate a conspiracy theorist's imagination below.
"One haunting telescopic video clip of the meteor’s explosive destruction reveals what appears to be a piloted craft intersecting the meteor’s descent at blinding speed. Navigating to the far side, the craft appears to be responsible for the explosive demise of the meteor into smaller fragments. In the age of photoshop and image manipulation we might dismiss this clip as a hoax except for one thing; the explosion sent meteor fragments in only one direction and away from the alleged craft as one would expect if the meteor had been zapped with an energy weapon. The alleged craft materialized from what appeared to be a 'cloaked' state in order to blast the asteroid. Following the blast it appears the craft re-entered and remained in a cloaked state. But before disappearing, the craft emerged from behind the explosion and appeared to 'wobble' slightly as if affected by the shock wave."
The present writer remains open even if unconvinced of above explanation.   It's hard to swallow, something as bright as Russian meteor, is simply, due to exploding gases!  It could be a space battle at the break of dawn in Russia!  The world is advised, in the meantime, to go back to sleep - nothing to see here -  only a meteor!

Was An EMP Bomb Detonated In Tennessee?

Was An EMP Bomb Detonated In Tennessee?
Examiner article reports local state representative, Rick Womack, made unusual observation to a Tennessee state government subcommittee recently, "... an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) bomb was detonated in Tennessee nearly two years ago. However, there is no record of that ever happening, the Tenn. Department of Safety and Homeland Security (DSHS) and the Shelbyville Times-Gazette said today."  Womack, whose comments have everyone scratching their heads, said, "We had one go off just down outside of Shelbyville. It'll be two years this summer. Nobody knows about it — was in the paper. One day, in a column about that big in the Shelbyville Times. That EMP bomb — made off the internet, suitcase sized — wiped out a 5-mile radius of everything that was electronic. That means your cellphone, telephones, your electronic ignition on your cars, television — anything having to do with electronics is fried. That means there's no communication. A terrorist attack would follow such an EMP blast."  The reader must ask, "what does Womack have to gain by making such wayward com- ments?" Was it a local test?  Are authorities and media painting Womack as a loon and everyone directed to stonewall any validation of incident?

Venus's South Pole Vortex = Whirlwind Size of Europe

Venus's South Pole Vortex = Whirlwind Size of Europe
You may view astronomy boring, but south pole vortex of Venus may change your mind? The present writer prefers 2006 image (picture), when double vortex appeared. The picture revealed  Earth-like hurricane funnels.  A prior post on Venus south pole vortex, is available here.   In current article, "Venus's South Pole Vortex --Strange Behavior of a Whirlwind the Size of Europe," The Daily Galaxy reports:
"The astronomers in the UPV/EHU’s Planetary Science Group have completed a study of the atmospheric vortex of the south pole of Venus, a huge whirlwind the size of Europe similar to Jupiter's 300-year-old Great Red Spot and the South Pole Vortex on Saturn. In the atmosphere there are two main cloud layers separated by a distance of 20km. The astronomers have been closely monitoring the move- ment of the vortex on both levels, and have been able to confirm the erratic nature of this movement."
What did the research group find?

“We knew it was a long-term vortex; we also knew that it changes shape every day. But we thought that the centres of the vortex at different altitudes formed only a single tube, but that is not so...," concluded  Itziar Garate-Lopez, head researcher of the Planetary Science Group. The article summarizes mysterious atmospheric phenomena at Venus south pole below:
"The centers of rotation of the upper and lower vortex rarely coincide in their position with respect to the vertical, yet they form a constantly evolving permanent structure on the surface of Venus. Long-term vortices are a frequent phenomenon in the atmospheres of fast rotating planets, like Jupiter and Saturn, for example. Venus rotates slowly, yet it has permanent vortices in its atmosphere at both poles. What is more, the rotation speed of the atmosphere is much greater than that of the planet."
"'We’ve known for a long time that the atmosphere of Venus rotates 60 times faster than the planet itself, but we didn’t know why,' says Garate-Lopez. 'The difference is huge; that is why it’s called super-rotation. And we‘ve no idea how it started or how it keeps going.'" Super-rotation remains fascinating phenomenon, although atmospheric gases may lie at heart of mystery?

Bloomberg: Police Drones Are Here, Get Used To It!

New York residents reveal their gullibility, when solicited for opinion on police drones in You Tube video that quotes the Mayor, "Bloomberg: Police Drones are Here, Get used to it!"  Many reply drones could deter terrorists and make you feel safer! The old refrain gets repeated, "I've got nothing to hide." It's true, you may be protected from petty criminals if author- ities say a camera was on or a police drone was available?  You won't be safer from governments, whose propensities lean primarily toward self-preservation, an "us" vs. "them" attitude!   Cameras and Drones are great for managing hordes.  It's time to get real New York, there's going to be little concern for individual safety!  You may only get your first fine via camera or drone - if you're lucky!

Planck Surveys Cosmic Background Radiation

Planck Surveys Cosmic Background Radiation
Planck Observatory (picture) supplies 15 months of cosmic background radiation data left over from just after the Big Bang. Data will be used in making detailed maps of universe.  In article, " "'Hacking the Cosmos' --Crunching Planck Data of Big-Bang Afterglow Reveals Daunting New Puzzles," The Daily Galaxy reports Planck was "...launched in 2009 to a point almost a million miles from Earth where it can look into deep space and map tiny differences in the cosmic microwave background, the faint glow of radiation left over from just after the big bang. The Planck observatory has produced the most detailed map to date of mass distribution in the universe." The article reflects excitement about new data, "'...maps are proving to be a goldmine containing stunning confirmations and new puzzles,' says Martin White, a Planck scientist and physicist with University of California Berkeley and at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). 'This data will form the cornerstone of our cosmological model for decades to come and spur new directions in research.'" The content of Universe has already undergone revision in light of new data:
"The new estimate of dark matter content in the universe is 26.8 percent, up from 24 percent, while dark energy falls to 68.3 percent, down from 71.4 percent. Normal matter now is 4.9 percent, up from 4.6 percent. At the same time, some curious features are observed that don’t quite fit with the current model. For example, the model assumes the sky is the same everywhere, but the light patterns are asymmetrical on two halves of the sky, and there is larger-than-expected cold spot extending over a patch of sky."
Computer resources for Planck mission includes Hopper, the 5th fastest computer in the world! The article includes very interesting discussion of computer resources necessary to crunch data in less than 1,000 years!

'We Are The Aliens'

BBC Documentary "We Are The Aliens" provides near hour of lively discussion on theory of Panspermia "The idea that life on Earth came from another planet has been around as a modern scientific theory since the 1960s when it [i.e., Pan-  spermia] was proposed by Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe. At the time they were ridiculed for their idea -- known as panspermia. But now, with growing evidence, it's back in vogue and even being studied by NASA. We meet the scientists on a mission to get to the bottom of the beginnings of life on Earth - from the team in Texas who are lovingly building a robotic submarine called DEPTHX to explore a moon of Jupiter, to Southern India where they are investigating a mysterious red rain which fell for two months in 2001. According to local scientist Godfrey Louis, the rain contains biological cells unlike any he had seen before -- with no DNA and the ability to replicate at 300°C. Louis has come to the conclusion that the cells are extra-terrestrial in origin," informs You Tube summary. Red rain in Kerala, India from July to September, 2001 remains one of world's greatest mysteries!

South Korea Hit by Cyber Attack – North Korea to Blame?

from apperspective.net: South Korean broadcasters and banks were hit with a cyber attack at 2 PM local time on Wednesday, temporarily taking down computers inside companies like Shinhan Bank, Nonghyup Bank, Munhwa Broadcasting Corp., Yonhap Television News and Korea Broadcasting System.

According to media reports, computers inside those companies failed to boot up following the attack, instead bringing up an image of three skulls with the message “"hacked by Whois Team." (pictured)

Reuters reported late Tuesday night (South Korean time) that the attacker likely penetrated the companies’ networks through their internet service providers. One of the ISPs, LG Uplus, has said it believes its networks were hacked just prior to the attacks on the country.

The malware—which is already being called DarkSeoul— reportedly damaged nearly 32,000 servers across the country.

In an initial assessment of the malware, Sophos, computer security firm, identified it as, Mal/EncPk-ACE, and described the malware as “not particularly sophisticated.” In fact, the company said its products have been able to detect the virus for over a year, and that the attackers had not tried to obfuscate “the various commands in the malicious.”

That said, tracing the origin of the attack is likely to prove difficult. Just hours ago South Korean officials announced that the malware was traced to an IP address in China, with South Korean communication regulator, Park Jae-moon, telling reporters that: “Unidentified hackers used a Chinese IP address to contact servers of the six affected organizations and plant the malware which attacked their computers."

Park quickly added that this fact revealed little about the location and identity of the attacker, who could be routing the attack through IP addresses in other countries. “At this stage, we're still making our best efforts to trace the origin of attacks, keeping all kinds of possibilities open," Park said.
North Korea almost certainly tops the list of those possibilities. Pyongyang is believed to be behind at least two prior large cyber attacks on South Korea in 2009 and 2011.

Scott Snyder of the Council on Foreign Relations told The Diplomat in an email that, although authorities don’t know who was behind the attacks yet, Pyongyang’s successful asymmetric provocations usually have three characteristics:  an element of surprise, ambiguity in attribution, and they are difficult to respond to proportionately in a manner that doesn’t escalate hostilities further.

Speaking of Tuesday’s cyber-attacks Snyder added, “This sort of attack would fulfill those characteristics; what remains is the question of whether there is proof that North Korea was behind it.”

Titan - A Place Like Home

BBC Horizon program, "Titan - A Place Like Home?"   The largest moon of Saturn, Titan remained  largely unknown due to its heavy cloud cover.  Cassini-Huygens spacecraft launched in 1997, entered orbit around Saturn by 2004. "It [Huygens] reached Saturn's moon Titan on January 14, 2005, when it entered Titan's atmosphere and descended to the surface. It successfully returned data to Earth, using the orbiter as a relay. This was the first landing ever accomplished in the outer Solar System." The documentary discusses flybys necessary to hurl craft into outer solar system.  Also, steps taken to land Huygens on Titan's surface and then return data via relay first to Cassini, are definite highlights - very interesting!  Scientists believe " ...in many respects Titan is driven by exactly the same geological and meteorological processes that shape and contour our own planet. Titan is certainly a place like home."

Strong CME Impact On March 17th

Strong CME Impact On March 17th
Spaceweather.com reports impact of strong CME recorded March 15th on our Sun below:
"As predicted, a coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth's magnetic field at 0600 UT on March 17th. The impact lifted the solar wind speed from 300 km/s to 700 km/s and sparked a moderately strong (Kp=6) geo- magnetic storm. Northern Lights spilled across the Canadian border into the United States as far south as Colorado:'Just after 4 am local time, the skies turned green and red behind the twin stone monoliths of Rabbit Ears Peak near Steamboat Springs, Colorado,' reports photographer and astronomy professsor Jimmy Westlake."

Retro Sci-Fi Weekend: 'Beyond The Time Barrier'

What lies logically beyond the sound barrier?  It's, of course, the time barrier and year 2024!  Wikipedia supplies plot summary for the 1960 Cold War Era production of "Beyond The Time Barrier," "U.S. Air Force test pilot Major Bill Allison (Robert Clarke) flies an experi- mental aircraft to sub-orbital spaceflight successfully but loses radio contact. He lands at his airbase that now is abandoned and seems old and unused. Mystified by his surroundings, he sees a futuristic city on the horizon... Allison discovers that he has entered a wormhole through time and has landed in the year 2024 that contains survivors from a cosmic plague that hit the Earth starting in 1971. The inhabi- tants of the dystopia who are dying out live in an underground city called The Citadel. They are led by the Supreme (Vladimir Sokoloff) and his mute and telepathic granddaughter Princess Trirene (18-year old, at the time, Darlene Tompkins). Against them are the literal outsiders, the bald violent mutants who seek to kill everyone they can. Also present are similar accidental time travelers labeled 'scapes'; the Russian Captain Markova (Arianne Ulmer) who came from 1973 and General Kruse (Stephen Bekassy) and Professor Bourman (John Van Dreelen) who have come from 1994 to escape the plague of the time." The film's production and journey to the big screen is possibly more interesting, because the studio Pacific International Pictures went bust. American International Pictures, who first expressed interest but wouldn't sign Clark (also film's producer) to a multiple film contract, scooped up movie for lab costs. Studio parlayed luck by also capitalizing on publicity for "The Time Machine," a sci-fi classic released in same year. Clark was only paid his actor's salary.  Please drop below fold to "scape" into Cold War Era black and white movie that flings you 11 years into the future.  The best part, as always, admission is free!

Sunset Comet Pan-STARRS

"Comet Pan-STARRS has survived its encounter with the sun and is now emerg- ing from twilight in the sunset skies of the northern hemisphere. A NASA spacecraft monitoring the comet has beamed back pictures of a wild and ragged tail," reports You Tube.   Pan-STARRS is one of the brightest comets in years. You have a few more days to get out and take a look for yourself!

What Mount Sharp Would Look Like on Earth

What Mount Sharp Would Look Like on Earth
Universe Today posts a fantasy what-if picture under title, "What Mount Sharp Would Look Like on Earth." Mt. Sharp, a three-mile high mount in Gale crater on Mars, appears under blue skies. The article reassures reader to avoid confusion below:
"Mars hasn’t sprouted a nitrogen-and-oxygen atmosphere overnight. The image above is a crop from a panoramic mosaic made of images from NASA’s Curiosity rover, showing Gale crater’s central peak Mount Sharp (or Aeolis Mons, if you prefer the official moniker.) Don’t let the blue sky fool you though — the lighting has been adjusted to look like a sunlit scene on Earth, if only to let geologists more easily refer to their own experience when studying the Martian landscape."
The present writer wonders? A prior post also shows blue Martian skies, "Martian Sky Is Blue."

Jupiter's Hot Spots

"Jupiter's bright Equatorial Zone swirls with dark patches, dubbed 'hot spots' for their infrared glow. These holes in the ammonia clouds at the top of the atmosphere allow a glimpse into Jupiter's darker, hotter layers below. In 1995 NASA's Galileo spacecraft dropped a probe directly into a hot spot, taking the first and only in situ measurements of Jupiter's atmosphere. Now, movies recorded by NASA's Cassini spacecraft reveal that hot spots are not just local weather phenomena, but are in fact linked to much larger-scale atmospheric structures called Rossby waves," informs You Tube summary. You may read more from The Daily Galaxy article, "Deep Probe off Jupiter's Violent Atmosphere."

Pentagon Adds Offensive Teams In Escalating Cyberwars

Pentagon Adds Offensive Teams In Escalating Cyberwars
RT reports on Pentagon announcement: "Gen. Keith Alexander, who leads both the Cyber Command and the National Security Agency, told the US Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday that the 40 online support teams should be ready for action by 2015, with 13 of those units existing specifically to attack other countries."  How many desktop warriors are already in cyberspace? The present writer wonders, whether, there are more cyber soldiers online at any moment than ordinary people? It may be bigger operation than average person would ever imagine?  A final question will they use offensive teams domestically?

Lost Walt Disney UFO Documentary

"Alien Encounters: Disney UFO Video Raises Questions," an article at wanttoknow.info describes Disney's  "Alien Encounters from New Tomorrowland" show:  "At first glance, this unique Disney television special appears to be an elaborate promotion of a scary New Tomorrowland ride on alien encounters which was about to open at Disney World. But on closer inspection, it is much more. The entire program, which opens with a short segment by Disney CEO Michael Eisner, does not even question the existence of UFOs and a major UFO cover-up. In fact, at times it has a tone of ridicule towards those who still deny the existence of UFOs. Considering the very limited showing and audience, and the highly unusual stance on UFOs taken, many suspect that this program was a probe to measure public reaction to news of the reality of visitation and interaction with various forms of non-human intelligent life on Earth." Was the program meant to gauge television viewer's reaction?

Unsealed Conspiracy Files - HAARP

"Unsealed Conspiracy Files" exposes HAARP as a worldwide threat by its ability to control weather and affect the Earth with its global reach and impact of biblical pro- portions!  HAARP implicated in losses of bees, whale beachings, interfering in birds' ability to migrate, and also, its affect on the human mind!  Further, it's addressed whether 2005 Hurricane Katrina was a controlled weather event?  The present writer remains impressed, to this day, by volatile 2004 - 2005 hurricane seasons.  Paths of individual hurricane seemed controlled with hurricanes stalling at mouth of the Gulf (of Mexico), growing in size a day or so, before continuing into the Gulf?  It's an interesting and educational 20 minute video!

Russia Retracts Earlier Report Of New Microbial Life

Russia Retracts Earlier Report Of New Microbial LifeThe Daily Galaxy (TDG) reports Russians disagree, whether new form of microbial life, discovered in Lake Vostok (picture).  Lake Vostok lies under two miles of ice in Antarctica.  Vladimir Korolyov, head of genetics lab at the Institute for Nuclear Physics in St. Petersburg, Russia contradicts earlier report by Sergei Bulat.   Korolyov advises it was a contaminated sample.  TDG article explains importance of Lake Vostok as a preparatory site for space exploration:
"Lake Vostok an excellent Earth-bound staging-experiement for Europa, a moon of Jupiter believed to have ice-crusted oceans. Scientists believe Europa's ocean, which is warmed by gravitational forces, could be one of the best places in the Solar System to look for life."
The question remains whether there was a discovery?   The statement provided previously by Bulat casts some doubt on Korolyov's advice below:
"Preliminary analysis of water samples collected from the lake revealed a species of bacteria not belonging to any known subkingdoms. 'We call it unidentified and 'unclassified' life,'  the team's leader, Sergei Bulat of the St. Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, told Russian news agency RIA Novosti. The bacteria's DNA wasrep[orted to be  less than 86% similar to known bacterial DNA, indicating that it was a new species, Bulat said."
Doesn't the Bulat statement sound confident?

Air Force Removes Drone Airstrike Numbers

Air Force Removes Drone Airstrike NumbersAir Force Times reports in article, "AF removes RPA airstrike number from summary," removal of airstrike numbers from its website:
"As scrutiny and debate over the use of remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) by the American military increased last month, the Air Force reversed a policy of sharing the number of airstrikes launched from RPAs in Afghanistan and quietly scrubbed those statistics from previous releases kept on their website."
It's praiseworthy to note present pressure on military, because of John Brennan CIA nomination.  Brennan defends legality of deadly use of drones on Americans. The Air Force seems motivated by current politics as detailed below:
"The data removal coincided with increased scrutiny on RPA policy caused by President Barack Obama’s nomination of John Brennan to head the CIA. Brennan faced opposition in the Senate over the use of RPAs and his defense of their legality in his role as Obama’s deputy national security adviser. On Feb. 20, two days before the metadata indicates the scrubbed files were created, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., sent a letter to Brennan saying that he would filibuster the nomination over concerns about using RPA strikes inside the U.S., a threat he carried out for over 12 hours on March 6 (Brennan was confirmed the next day). That same day, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told a crowd in South Carolina that strikes by American RPAs have killed 4,700 people."
Hats off to the people who've applied the pressure!

NASA Warns 'Something Unexpected Happening To The Sun'

NASA Warns 'Something Unexpected Happening To The Sun' border= Mail Online reports NASA expecting a solar max in 2013, confronted instead, with low sunspot activity on Sun (picture).  The article offers possible explanation, "... Solar physicist Dean Pesnell of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center believes he has a different explanation. 'This is solar maximum,' he says. 'But it looks different from what we expected because it is double-peaked.' 'The last two solar, around 1989 and 2001, had not one but two peaks.' Solar activity went up, dipped, then rose, perform- ing a mini-cycle that lasted about two years, he said...Pesnell expects them to rebound in 2013: 'I am comfortable in saying that another peak will happen in 2013 and possibly last into 2014'."

Comet PANNSTARRS: How To See It

Comet PANNSTARRS: How To See It
Universe Today provides great guide to viewing Comet PanStarrs.  Writer David Dickinson describes what to expect this month:
"After gaining 15-20° degrees of elevation from our northern hemisphere vantage point, Comet PanSTARRS will then begin running roughly parallel to the western horizon on each successive evening for mid-northern latitude observers. This first half of March is also when Comet PanSTARRS will have the potential to appear at its brightest. In the best case scenario, we’ll have a comet with a -1st magnitude coma and a tail pointing straight up from the horizon like an exclamation point. In the worst case situation, we’ll have a +3rd magnitude fuzzy comet only visible through binoculars...But if you observe the comet on no other night, be sure to check it out on the evening of March 12-13th. The comet will have just crossed the ecliptic, and will be joined by a slim crescent Moon just over a day old. If you’ve got binoculars or a telescope, you might just be able to spy the planet Uranus at 6th magnitude only 24’ from the head of the comet on March 12th."
Comet Pannstarrs was discovered in 2011 by the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (PanSTARRS website) on Maui.   The comet will be rising over western horizon for the next few nights with best opportunity around March 12th, when PannStarrs will be approximately 10 degrees above horizon..  PannStarrs remains visible through March 19th.  It's time to get out the binoculars!.

Michael E Brown, Caltech astronomer and Kevin Hand from the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) "... have found the strongest evidence yet that salty water from the vast liquid ocean beneath Europa's frozen exterior actually makes its way to the surface," reports The Daily Galaxy"'We now have evidence that Europa's ocean is not isolated—that the ocean and the surface talk to each other and exchange chemicals,' says Brown, the Richard and Barbara Rosenberg Professor and professor of planetary astronomy at Caltech...Hand emphasizes that, from an astrobiology standpoint, Europa is considered a premier target in the search for life beyond Earth..." A description of Europa supplied in article: "Europa's ocean is thought to be 100 kilometers deep and covers the entire globe. The moon remains locked in relation to Jupiter, with the same hemisphere always leading and the other trailing in its orbit. The leading hemisphere has a yellowish appearance, while the trailing hemisphere seems to be splattered and streaked with a red material. The spectroscopic data from that red side has been a cause of scientific debate for 15 years. It is thought that one of Jupiter's largest moons, Io, spews volcanic sulfur from its atmosphere, and Jupiter's strong magnetic field sends some of that sulfur hurtling toward the trailing hemisphere of Europa, where it sticks." The read streaks are believed to be magnesium. Brown also suspects Europa's salty ocean resembles Earth's ocean.

Inspiration To Mars Flyby May Not Inspire 'Lucky' Couple

Inspiration To Mars Flyby May Not Inspire 'Lucky' Couple
Multi-Millionaire Dennis Tito announced intent at introductory Inspiration Mars Foundation News Conference of sending couple by 2018 on a flyby of Mars.  Tito, an engineer, presented his first paper in 1965 on a proposed trajectory for a flyby of Mars!  "I've been waiting and waiting," adds Tito at conference, "we need to do something!" Tito also points to 2018 planetary alignment as a factor in proposal, observing, "we may have company in 2031 [next alignment] if we wait?"  The planetary alignment results in what's termed a "free return" trajectory.  The actual trip termed austere at press conference, could be worse.   An article at The Indian Express "Mars Mission to use astronaut feces as radiation shield," as title implies, first space tourists - a selected couple - will use own feces to line spacecraft for protection against cosmic rays.   The couple may also consume water recycled - many times - from their own urine?  Well, facts of the mission take the awe right out of endeavor and may replace it with some "awe s--t!" The present writer will wait for the deluxe cruise ships!

Comet PanSTARRS Visible In Northern Hemisphere March 8

Comet PanSTARRS Visible In Northern Hemisphere March 8
CNNU.S. article advises: "...two comets are expected to put on a naked-eye spectacle for sky watchers in the Northern Hemisphere. Up first is Comet Pan-STARRS, which gets its funky name from the telescope credited with discovering it in June 2001: the Panoramic Survey Telescope & Rapid Response System in Hawaii. The comet is already visible through telescopes in the Southern Hemisphere, and it should swing into view over the Northern Hemisphere beginning around March 8." Amateur astronomer Terry Lovejoy captured image (picture) on February 12, 2013 in Brisbane, Australia, using a QHY9 camera and an 8" telescope with 5 minutes exposure. You can peer skyward on Friday for some possible eye candy!

Fake Asteroid Impact Coming Soon!

Are we falling for the deception? Glenn Moore raises questions about recent Russian meteor in You Tube video (left), "Fake Asteroid Impact Coming Soon!" "The meteor strike in Russia is just a taste of what is coming, but it will not be what you think it is. They have the means to 'fake' a meteor strike, using HAARP and Project Bluebeam technology,"  informs You Tube summary.  The present writer remains unconvinced by official explanations.  Russians seem of the opinion it was a weapons test?  Carol Rosin warned world about agenda to weaponize space she learned from scientist Wehrner von Braun, year ago.   It could be a meteor, a weapon, or a plasma ball?  We don't know, Russian event was in fact a meteor!
