Computer Viruses Could Cross Frontier Into Biological Realm, Researchers Say

Computer Viruses Could Cross Frontier Into Biological Realm, Researchers Say
from pcworld.com: Computer hackers could create malicious software that crosses the line from technology to biology, crafting viruses that could spread dangerous epidemics, researchers said at Black Hat Europe. "We are really on the border between the living and the not living," said Guillaume Lovet, senior manager of Fortinet's Threat Research and Response Center, during a keynote speech discussing the similarities between biological and computer viruses. Fortinet was the main sponsor of the Black Hat Europe security conference in Amsterdam last week.

The comparison between computer and human viruses was made to give security researchers a better understanding of why the human immune system is so much better in battling viruses than antivirus systems. "We came to wonder if there can be some kind of convergence between human viruses and computer viruses," Lovet added. "It may sound like a scenario for a bad Hollywood movie, but it is not such a stupid question."

One of the main things that led Fortinet researchers to that conclusion is the similarity between computer and human viruses. In essence they behave the same way, including information coding for parasitic behavior inside a host system. Reasoning along this line of thought, a Denial of Service (DoS) attack can be compared to HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus), because both aim at overloading a system, said Ruchna Nigam, security researcher at Fortinet.

a new view of stuxnet role in fukushima disaster

a new view of stuxnet role in fukushima disaster
Freelance journalist Jim Stone has recently uncovered new information and blows the lid off Fukushima "natural" disaster! In an appropriately titled article by Stone, "Did Dimona Dozen Murder Fukushima 50," simply deconstructs tragedy with a step by step progression of events that have ring of truth! A crucial turn was when Japan offered to enrich uranium for Iran. "Immediately, Israel sets up front companies masquerading as security companies, and one of them succeeds in getting a security contract at a Japanese nuclear facility. 4 months later the Dimona Dozen shows up, and under the cover of a security contract gets unlimited access to the heart of Fukushima. They plant the virus, install real cameras outside the facility, and functional poorly disguised nuke cameras inside the facility. In addition to this, they install an unauthorized data connection to allow control of all the guts of the facility via the virus."

The alleged operation is a movie script comparable to 9/11, a tactical nuke set off in the Japan trench the cause of the tsunami. Stone draws attention to photos and overlooked by others: there is little quake damage as the tsunami arrives on coast. Further, there is little panic as would be expected from a 8.9 quake on the Richter scale. The freelance journalist found US Geological Survey (USGS) documents, showing quake to be a 6.67 and more consistent with what is on many amateur videos taken that day. People would not be able to ride out a huge quake as many do on the videos, believes Stone. The Japanese seem unaware of a huge quake and pictures show old concrete structures intact as the tsunami inundates them. Israel simply waited for a natural event in the quake-ridden country to provide cover for their tactical nuke, according to Stone.

A few days later, a second detonation takes place (pictured) inside reactor 3, which had been equipped with huge security cameras with a striking resemblance to a nuclear device by the Israeli security firm..  This was accomplished by an unauthorized datalink via the Stuxnet virus admitted to by Israel.  It's believed all the redundant back up systems failed at the nuclear plant because of Stuxnet. In similar manner to how Iran's Bushehr centrifuges were damaged, Stuxnet took over Siemens SCADA software to send commands that eventually damage equipment while bogus normal readings sent to controls.  Dr Brooks Agnew reveals on X-Squared Radio a controlling stake in Siemens was acquired by Israeli corporate interests, some time before 3-11. Was this the fact that spurred Germany's Merkel to shut down older reactors and to begin a move away from nuclear power?

The most colorful aspect of the alleged operation, is, "Israeli Prime Minister calls Japan, and says TAKE THAT for offering help to Iran, and ya know, there are FIVE MORE NUKES in the ocean off the coast of Japan, and we are going to set those off and destroy your coastal cities if you do not forget that 6.67, and say it was a 9 to cover for tsunami effects. AND NOW we are going to make your people DEMAND you move away from nuclear power so you can NEVER threaten us like that again. We are BLOWING UP FUKUSHIMA DIIACHI and you are going to go along with whatever story we tell you to. SO THERE!!"

Jim Stone provides a theory that fits the facts, which doesn't make it accurate. It should remind everyone to question the official story as it clearly does not add up! Stuxnet insured reactor meltdown but still took a nuclear device to blow up the evidence not just a nuclear reaction. The present writer believes Japanese government must be operating under duress to allow radiation leak at Fukushima to continue without more dramatic efforts to mitigate crisis! A very readable version of Stone's account is available at NaturalNews.com. A recent Rumor News Mill interview of freelance journalist Jim Stone is available here.

get ready for digital false flag attacks

get ready for digital false flag attacksIs the new Cybercommand policy to open the public's eyes? Or, is the only open eye at the top of the pyramid? Are you beginning to feel like an abused b-slapped spouse? You should! Rob Kall at OEN writes definitive article, "Get Ready for Digital False Flag Attacks," about Pentagon's move to codify cyberwar with "equivalence" policy. "If a cyber attack produces the death, damage, destruction or high-level disruption that a traditional military attack would cause, then it would be a candidate for a "use of force" consideration, which could merit retaliation." It's simply an eye for an eye. The United States will be allowed by policy to retaliate with military force if a Stuxnet-like virus turned off, say, nuclear plant vents and caused a F**USHIMA here!.

Do you believe hundreds of Cybercommand desktop warriors make you safer? An imagination can run wild. An old GE nuclear plant suffers a core meltdown due to stuck or damaged valves which fail to vent as a result of destructive commands from a Stuxnet virus! You wonder if older plants are more vulnerable and reason Germany closed their oldest reactors? Within a day if not hours, the enemy gets identified as Pakistan and yet another military operation organized to get the evil-doers! It's just one possible scenario but the potential is there for another public sacrifice on the path to another war! Does it sound familiar?

The thin cover provided by lame politically-inspired false flag events are the b-slap across your face as the perps hiss, "what ya' gonna do 'bout it?" What are we going to do about it?

langner warns stuxnet generic

langner warns stuxnet genericCyber security expert Ralph Langner reports his research into Stuxnet in a must see video from a recent Ted Talk. While an article by Washington's Blog, "Could a Rogue Computer Virus be Used to Shut Down Nuclear Plants Worldwide?", has gone viral; the real news is Langner's revelation that "Stuxnet is generic", which implies its flexible code can easily attack other industrial sites not just nuclear plants. The Ugly Truth quotes Langner's pointed comment, “you fail to understand that the hacker underground has been studying control systems for years without any success. You fail to understand that this community will eagerly dismantle Stuxnet as a blueprint for how to cyber-attack installations from the cookie plant next door to power plants.” Virus protection will be at a premium for commercial applications!

lake vostok mystery

lake vostok mystery Mystery builds as Russians quit drilling for season. The drill lies less than 50 feet from subglacial Lake Vostok environment. Russians leave a two mile borehole filled with kerosene to prevent freezing, until drilling resumes in December. Mystery surrounds the lake even thicker than the two miles of ice covering it. There is a reluctance to penetrate an environment separated from the rest of the world for thousands of years. The pristine lake could be contaminated in the process, but release of pressurized gases is also a concern.

Vostok station was established in 1957 by the Russians, who suspected the presence of water. A.P.Kapitsa attempted to verify a freshwater lake by seismic measurements in the fifties and sixties, but data failed to confirm it. Russian scientists were convinced though physical pressure exerted by the ice sheets, could reach melting temperatures.

In 1974, British scientists did a radar survey by flying over Antarctica and uncovered the terrain below ice of predominantly mountains, and on Christmas Day, what appeared to be a lake. A satellite study by space-based radar in 1991 confirmed the presence of one of the largest lakes in the world. A documentary, "The Lost World of Lake Vostok," provides an excellent summary of efforts made in the discovery.

Lake Vostok lies not only two miles down in complete darkness, but apparently a very old and deep lake. Vostok is about the size of Lake Ontario but with twice the volume and almost half as deep as Lake Baikal--the deepest lake in the world. NASA became interested because of similarities to Europa and viewed the lake as a testing ground.

Mystery helped propagate rumors a decade ago, when a NASA press conference was interrupted after allusions to "national security" concerns and intervention by the NSA.

The Art Bell show contributed to controversy with statement on air scientists were suffering ailments after returning from the South Pole. A McMurdo Station physician made a comment at the time to his replacement, "fill your pockets with salt," a hint to bring
iodine tablets because of radiation. It didn't end there.

Two million missing Nazis and base 211 have been tied to the lake. A 2009 Science Daily article can be worked into the conspiracy web, reporting a dynamic network of lakes below Antarctica--what better place for Nazi U-boats? The conspiracy-fest continues with possibility a large crystal, which powered legendary Atlantis, is the source of the magnetic anomaly detected at one end of Lake Vostok.

Is all the hype comic book fantasy or disinfo agents at work to obfuscate reality? Worse, has a virus we haven't encountered been released? Or, is the South Pole going to suffer a similar fate as the Gulf of Mexico? We won't have long to wait, December is the last month before apocalyptic 2012!

vanity fair on stuxnet: a declaration of cyberwar

did US intel mastermind the stuxnet cyber-missile?
vanity fair on stuxnet: a declaration of cyberwarfrom vanity fair: Last summer, the world’s top software-security experts were panicked by the discovery of a drone-like computer virus, radically different from and far more sophisticated than any they’d seen. The race was on to figure out its payload, its purpose, and who was behind it. As the world now knows, the Stuxnet worm appears to have attacked Iran’s nuclear program. And, as Michael Joseph Gross reports, while its source remains something of a mystery, Stuxnet is the new face of 21st-century warfare: invisible, anonymous, and devastating.

stuxnet returns to bushehr reactor

stuxnet returns to bushehr reactor Russia warns Iran too dangerous to bring Bushehr reactor online. Sergei Kiriyenko, Rosatom chief (Russian Nuclear Energy Commission), complained directly to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Stuxnet malworm shouldn't be ignored and warned of potential calamity. An article at Debkafile, "Stuxnet hits Bushehr again, Russia warns of nuclear explosion," can only be called ominous in tone. "The impression the Rosatom chief had gained from his staff at Bushehr was that the Iranian teams had been ordered to activate the reactor at any price to prove that the Islamic Republic had beaten Stuxnet. This concern overrode security." Ahmadinejad ordered the reactor shut down after the Russian departed as reason prevailed on this day. Dimitry Rogozin, Russia's ambassador to NATO, warned the Stuxnet virus is very toxic and dangerous like "explosive mines".

There seems little hope for the Bushehr reactor. Are Windows computers designed to be targeted by the agenda? It's not as far-fetched as it sounds. Putin recognized the danger by ordering the replacement of Windows with Linux in Russia, just last month.
