'Smart Meters' Don't Believe In Your Privacy
from brasschecktv.com: Here's the deal. They measure the amount of electricity you use and they bill you for it, that's ALL they need to do. There's no need for a utility company to know when you turn on a device or turn off a light. There's no need for them to monitor your habits, like when you watch television or how many computers you have in your house. But that's exactly what they will do. And law enforcement is already using information transmitted by these devices to discern what you are doing in the privacy of your own homes. Oh yeah, it's true. Think the 'Smart Meter' isn't a spy? Guess again...
