Is the Face on Mars located in the Cydonia region (pictured) that of desposed Nibiruan ruler Alalu? Nibiru, Zecharia Sitchin's 12th Planet, was in the midst of an environmental crisis. Sasha Lessin, in her essay, "Anu Defeats Alalu, Banishes Him To Mars With Anzu," picks up the story with a rematch between Alalu and Anu over who should be King. Anu concedes the validity of Alalu's claim, defeats him again in customary wrestling match. The twice defeated Alalu bites off Anu's genitals in a state of humiliated rage. The deposed king is sent to die on Mars with Anzu, a relative, to look after him. It's determined poisons contained in Alalu's act would eventually kill him. A monument to Alalu fashioned on the face of Mars with beams from spaceships, according to Lessin, is the lasting memorial to a former King's vital discovery in the far way! It's, at the least, an interesting myth and wonder how close it rises to the level of truth?

danes homemade rocket launch a success!

An article in The Miami Herald reported Friday a Danish group of space enthusiasts launched a 30 ft homemade rocket (pictured) successfully from Bornholm island. The rocket reached five miles in altitude before retrieved later intact from the Baltic Sea. The HEAT 1X Tyco Brahe is a rocket spacecraft combo designed and built by Copenhagen Suborbitals. Rocket was named in honor of 16th Century Danish astronomer Tyco Brahe. The group states they "...are working fulltime to develop a series of suborbital space vehicles-designed to pave the way for manned space flight on a micro size spacecraft." You can view launch on You Tube. Friday's feat shows what ingenuity, $53,000 and use of a military test site can accomplish. The group seems aimed at providing public with an econo-space travel experience?

Russian space probe Phobos Grunt set to launch December 25, 2011. The probe would achieve orbit around Mars, December 2012. Mars Express probe captured images in March 2010 during a flyby at a distance of just 60 miles. The landing site targeted by the Grunt mission to capture soil samples and return pictured here. The images are reported to be invaluable to mission planners. Richard Hoagland discusses Mars Express images on a recent edition of The Unexplained with Howard Hughes. Hoagland believes Phobos is an ancient artificial satellite severely eroded to reveal artificial construction just beneath its surface. Hoagland comments in interview, "think of it as a Titanic exploration [Ballard] on a titanic scale," firmly sees DNA if not bodies recovered from one-third hollow artificial satellite.

The former CBS science adviser notes majority of Mars missions have failed and revisits the controversial Phobos 2 mission. The alien spaceship is a cover story for reported loss of the Russian satellite, according to Hoagland, intended to dissuade inquiry. The departure and destination arrival dates generate interest, as it seems, an occult connection to the dates may exist? Randy Halverson proves at DakotaLapse.com with dedication a person can take first rate pix and create wonderful time-lapse montages such as "Plains Milky Way"! A recent Wired Science article shows behind the scenes effort taken by Halverson to produce his art!

"A star-tracking mount for a telescope allows Halverson’s still camera to pan and tilt with the stars. It not only prevents blur, but also gives a walk-about motion to his videos. A motorized rail creates the zooming effect; a computer controller that moves the mount and snaps the camera’s shutter. Each scene in the montage represents about 300 still photographs taken over a period of several hours."

Halverson also points out in the same article, "it takes a lot of trial and error to get right, but it's worth it. It shows motion into the stars you don’t normally notice. When you look up at them, you often don’t realize how much they’re moving." Halverson looks to the stars to create just plains wonderful astrophotography!
