Cell Phones Open Blood Brain Barrier

Leif Salford, a researcher from Lund University in Sweden, presents in 20 min. research findings (video) on microwave energy - cell phones - how at very low power levels opens blood-brain-barrier.  The blood-brain-barrier protects brain, and once opened, allows proteins in to disrupt and damage brain cells. In "Chemtrails, Wireless And You," William Thomas writes, "Just two minutes on a cell phone, or sitting near a wireless computer router or portable phone cradle, shorts-circuits the electrical ion activity powering the blood-brain barrier. This allows proteins and other blood toxins to enter the brain and resume damaging neurons in thinking and memory centers. Dr. Leif Salford is finding “astonishing number of dead neuron cells, actually suffering holes in their brains from the damage” caused by a single cell phone call." from smh: One in 10 American children aged between 10 and 17 has used a mobile phone to send or receive sexually suggestive images, but only 1 in 100 has sent images considered graphic enough to violate US child pornography laws, a new study has found. The results of the study, published on Monday in the US medical journal Pediatrics, are based on detailed telephone interviews with 1560 children across the country. It is one of the largest surveys to look at the prevalence of sexting among minors, a phenomenon that has drawn concern from schools and law enforcement and that has prompted nationwide legislation trying to curb it. An earlier, often-cited study had estimated that as many as one in five teenagers engaged in sexting, but it included 18- and 19-year-olds, most likely increasing the overall prevalence.

The Promenade Mall in Temecula, CA and Short Pump Town Center of Richmond, VA "...will track guests’ movements by monitoring the signals from their cell phones," according to Cryptogon.com. The article maintains it's the first time cell phones will be used to track customers. Do you believe it?

News of the impending police action capped a dramatic day of unfolding developments in the News of the World phone-hacking scandal.

from antifascist calling: Recent revelations that Apple's iPhone and iPad, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating systems collect, store and transmit records of users' physical locations to central databases--secretly, and without consent--have ignited a firestorm over Americans' privacy rights in an age of hypersurveillance.

And with a lawsuit filed last week in U.S. District Court in Florida by two iPhone users, The Register reports, Apple guru Steve Jobs was forced to respond to complaints after the firm's usual tactic--deafening silence--failed to assuage customer's anxieties.

The lawsuit alleges that "irreparable injury has resulted and continues to result from Apple's unauthorized tracking of millions of Americans," plaintiffs Vikram Ajjampur and William Devito averred. They are requesting their case be granted class-action status, a move likely to send shudders along the silicon spine of the secretive Cupertino high-tech powerhouse.

In response to the outcry, The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple "is scaling back how much information its iPhones store about where they have been and said it will stop collecting such data when consumers request it, as the company tries to quell concerns it was tracking iPhone owners."

But as journalists Yukari Iwatani Kane and Jennifer Valentino-Devries point out, "a week of silence on the growing controversy, raised new questions and criticism about its data-handling practices."
