Purely Pacific Northwest by John Ecklund
What will 13 months, 260,000 images and 6.3 terabytes of hard drive space get you? John Ecklund, a photographer who resides in Portland, OR, shows results on website, "The Art Of The Time-Lapse." Eklund creates a captivating timelapse titled, "Purely Pacific Northwest." In Universe Today article, "Beautiful Timelapse: Purely Pacific Northwest," Eklund shares belief timelapse photography reveals a further truth, "'Here in the Pacific Northwest, there are endless opportunities to document the magnificence of the world around us. I have discovered that when time is the storyteller, a special kind of truth emerges.'" It's a beautiful and soothing video montage, which includes shots of Mt St. Helen, Crater Lake and the Milky Way. It's an impressive and enriching four minutes! Hats off to Ecklund!
