china space program animation set to 'america the beautiful'
Shenzhou-8 landed in Inner Mongolia, today, after successfully docking in space. Universe Today article provides nice coverage of China's ambitious space program with two manned flights planned for 2012. Shenzhou-8 was unmanned. The Chinese space program animation is perhaps of greater interest to Americans, which curiously simulated docking set to song "America the Beautiful". Wow! The present writer suspects it's a nod to the Clinton Administration, who sold many scientific secrets to the Chinese in the nineties.
