space junk #3: another large satellite reenters by month's end?

space junk #3: another large satellite reenters by month's end? Will space junk warnings become routine? ROSAT is predicted to reenter Earth's atmosphere before the end of October. The disclaimers flow in Mail Online article to hedge future liability, "Professor Heiner Klinkrad of the European Space Agency assured: 'Until now in the more than 50-years of space history not a single person has been harmed [by pieces of falling satellites].'" Did you catch the phrase, "no one harmed"? Lottie Williams became the first person to be hit by space junk in January 1997, while she strolled in a Tulsa, OK park. A piece of super-heated fuel tank insulation from a Delta II rocket struck Williams' shoulder. The advice given the public on ROSAT, and similar to UARS,  reports 30 individual pieces that weigh 1.6 tons may survive reentry. Authorities speaking out of both sides of their mouths note, "odds are long of anyone being hurt, but emergency services in Germany are practicing drills to deal with debris injuries just in case...". Debris from ROSAT may include glass shards from heat-resistant mirrors! The article points out ROSAT and UARS are "...far smaller than the 135-ton Russian space station Mir, which fell to Earth in 2001 or the 100-ton Skylab that fell in 1979". Don't you feel better?

megatsunami 2011 watch: real threat or predictive programming?

megatsunami 2011 watch: real threat or predictive programming? Is the unstable flank of Cumbre Viega volcano in the Canary Islands ready to plunge into the ocean? The hype is at a crescendo about an imminent mega-tsunami resulting from a landside into 4,000 feet of water. The heightened concern is due to 9,300 tremors experienced in the Canary Islands since July. A tsunami threat to the East Coast of the United States is well-known as reported in a 2004 Rense article. The threat is real but timing seems convenient for a desperate oligarch class? Media hype only builds expectations of tragedy for the East Coast! Is it predictive programming?

amateur rocket launch onboard camera takes you for ride!

amateur rocket launch onboard camera takes you for ride!Wanna go for a ride? It's amazing video for an amateur rocket launch. "On September 30, 2011 at 11:08am, Derek Deville's Qu8k (pronounced "Quake") launched from the Black Rock Desert in Nevada to an altitude of 121,000' before returning safely to earth. Above 99% of the atmosphere, the sky turns black in the middle of the day and the curvature of the earth is clearly visible. The rocket motor produced 4,000 lbs of thrust for 8 seconds accelerating the vehicle to over Mach 3 at over 10,000'. After that, momentum carried the rocket skyward for another 84 seconds to a peak altitude of 121,000'." The video provides a visual experience!

coronal mass ejection: causal link to earthquakes and volcanoes

coronal mass ejection: causal link to earthquakes and volcanoesA strong Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) may transmit energy directly into the Earth's core, heating surrounding magma - a direct cause of increased volcanic activity. A CME may also cause breaches in the Earth's magnetosphere as reported in a previous post, "Earth's Magnetic Fields Cause of Birds & Fish Die-off". It's suspected that the birds blacked out when they quit breathing, since they rely on magnetic fields to help regulate air intake while in flight. The implications are potentially horrific with the loss of protection from a CME that might reach the Earth's surface, in addition, to an increase of earthquakes and volcanoes. You may listen to a discussion of CMEs and their implications on the Sept. 30th Nutrimedical Report.  It's an enlightening discussion that includes tsunami concerns originating from the Canary Islands.

tracing canals of mars

tracing canals of marsThe Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), mapping Martian surface the past five years, has captured images indicating water, according to article via Mars Daily! "Last August...scientists found dozens of slopes across the southern hemisphere of Mars where previously undetected dark streaks come and go with the seasons. When the planet heats up, the streaks appear and expand downhill, and disappear when it gets cold. Scientists think it may be evidence of melted, salty water running down slopes during the Martian summer." Could this be a revival of the canals of Mars a la Percival Lowell? The article gives a nod to the amateur astronomer, "...Lowell was far and away the most influential popularizer of planetary science in America." You can read one of Lowell's books by clicking link, "Mars and Its Canals" (1906). But, Lowell is excused at the same time for "...the fact that his 'canals' and elaborate descriptions of Martian civilization turned out to be the product of self-delusion (though not a deliberate hoax), Lowell's name remains honored in the annals of astronomy." The question arises in a reader's mind, whether Lowell was unfairly discredited?

virus infects creech afb systems piloting attack drones overseas

virus infects creech afb systems piloting attack drones overseasAn attack drone killed Anwar Al-Awlaki, an American citizen, late last month. Now, computer systems at Creech AFB, NV, which run drone missions overseas, are infected with a virus, reports Danger Room article, "Exclusive: Computer Virus Hits U.S. Drone Fleet". "'We keep wiping it off, and it keeps coming back,' says a source familiar with the network infection, one of three that told Danger Room about the virus. 'We think it’s benign. But we just don’t know.'” The security status of the drone operation is summarized, "...specialists don’t know exactly how far the virus has spread. But they’re sure that the infection has hit both classified and unclassified machines at Creech. That raises the possibility, at least, that secret data may have been captured by the keylogger, and then transmitted over the public internet to someone outside the military chain of command." What's next? A false flag op with commandeered drones, remote piloted by Islamic terrorists?
